Greetings in the name of Jesus! Let me take a moment to tell you about me and my family. 

I was born in Watertown, Wisconsin, and was privileged to attend our Wisconsin Synod schools since kindergarten! After grade school, I went on to Northwestern Prep (now Luther Prep) in Watertown to prepare for full-time public ministry.

Upon graduation, I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in May of 2000. After that, it was on to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, for two years of intensive study (esp. a continuation of the study of the Biblical original languages of Greek and Hebrew). During my second year, I met my wonderful wife, Stephanie. We were married in July of 2002.  My third year of "school" at the Sem was spent in Cary, NC, at Tree of Life Lutheran Church, working under the resident pastor. After that, it was back to Mequon for one final year. In May of 2004, I received a Master of Divinity degree from WLS and was assigned to Christ Lutheran in Juneau!

It has truly been a blessing to work with this congregation. I look forward to meeting you and helping you understand the beauty of the gospel, and to one day welcome you into our church family!
